About Me
My name is Robert Pierce. I'm a professional wedding photographer in Houston. I also do commercial and industrial work. Please keep me in mind when you need a photographer.
I've had an interest in railroading as long as I can recall. I've created this site to share the images I've collected, along with some of my thoughts, about current and vintage railroading in the Southwest U.S.
I live in Sugar Land, a suburb of Houston, with my wife Delia. We have two sons. Andy, 23, is a Fort Worth Service Unit conductor for the UP. Eric, 19, is in his last year of the Ford Automotive Tech program at San Jacinto College.

Southwest Rails 
I just began to check out the new site after seeing your link on Railspot. I’ve always loved the Southwest and plan to retire somewhere in that great area in the next few years. From what I’ve seen in the first couple of minutes, it looks like a great start! Thanks.
