To be fair, she was right 99.9% of the time when she told me that nothing good happened at night!
But 0.1% of the time, good things can happen at night such as last night’s UP QSPNL-08 train doing
some work at the north end of UP’s Lloyd Yard in Spring, Texas.
My name is Robert Pierce. I'm a professional wedding photographer in Houston. I also do commercial and industrial work. Please keep me in mind when you need a photographer.
I've had an interest in railroading as long as I can recall. I've created this site to share the images I've collected, along with some of my thoughts, about current and vintage railroading in the Southwest U.S.
I live in Sugar Land, a suburb of Houston, with my wife Delia. We have two sons. Andy, 23, is a Fort Worth Service Unit conductor for the UP. Eric, 19, is in his last year of the Ford Automotive Tech program at San Jacinto College.
I hope you enjoy your visit here. Check back often as I'll be adding new material frequently. I encourage you to comment about the work I post here. You may use the comments area included with each post. You can also contact me via the contact tab at the top right corner of this page.
Great photo!
What a great picture! Do you track heritage units or was this just a lucky encounter?
I’m nowhere near that lucky! I knew it would be there due to some inside help.
Good job.
